The College of Nursing, AIIMS Bhopal invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor (Lecturer in Nursing) in the Paediatric Nursing specialty. The appointment will be on a contractual basis for one year or until a regular appointment is made, whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized university or institution.
• Registration with the Indian Nursing Council (INC) or the respective State Nursing Council.
• Three years of teaching experience after obtaining the prescribed qualification.

Desirable Qualification

• Ph.D. in Nursing

Candidates with higher academic qualifications, research publications, and relevant teaching experience will be preferred.

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Nursing after acquiring the essential qualification.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 50 years as on the date of interview.

Age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and other eligible categories as per Government of India rules.

Job Responsibilities

The selected Assistant Professor will be responsible for:

• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate Nursing students.
• Conducting classroom lectures, clinical demonstrations, and practical sessions.
• Supervising students during clinical training in Paediatric Nursing.
• Guiding student research projects and dissertations.
• Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
• Participating in curriculum development and academic activities.
• Assisting in departmental research, faculty development programmes, and institutional responsibilities.

Salary

Consolidated Salary: ₹1,11,040 per month
