Educational Qualification

Candidates must satisfy either Option A or Option B prescribed under the UGC Regulations.

Option A

Candidates should possess:

• Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Must have qualified:
  • UGC-NET
  • CSIR-NET
  • SLET
  • SET
  • Or any equivalent examination recognized by UGC.

NET Exemption

Candidates awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D.) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 shall be exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirement, subject to the prescribed conditions.

Option B

Candidates possessing a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the Top 500 Universities in the QS, Times Higher Education (THE), or Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) rankings.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate Commerce courses through the Centre for Distance and Online Education.
• Preparing course materials and online learning resources.
• Conducting lectures, tutorials, and student interaction sessions.
• Evaluating assignments, examinations, and academic performance.
• Guiding students in academic and project work.
• Participating in curriculum development and departmental activities.
• Performing other academic responsibilities assigned by the university.

Salary

Fixed Consolidated Salary: ₹40,000 per month
