About the FDP
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chennai Institute of Technology is organizing a one-week online Faculty Development Programme on “The Intelligent Frontier: Generative AI, Smart Systems and Next-Gen Engineering Innovations.”
The FDP aims to explore the convergence of Generative AI, smart systems and next-generation engineering innovations, providing insights into emerging technologies, intelligent systems and their real-world applications. The objectives include knowledge sharing on AI and smart systems, exploring advanced tools for future engineering, and promoting research, innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Day 2: Edge AI on Embedded Systems – Dual-Node RTOS for Navigation and Crop Disease Detection
Day 3: AI for Intelligent Signal Processing, 5G/6G Networks, and Future Wireless Communications
Day 4: Transforming Engineering Education with Generative AI – Responsible AI, Research Innovation, and Future Workforce Readiness
Day 5: AI-Powered IoT, Robotics, Autonomous Systems, Digital Twins, and Industry 5.0
Day 6: Generative AI for Software Engineering, Data Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity
