Project Title:
“Spatial Morphology and Hydrological Functioning of Paleochannel Ponds in the Chambal-Kunwari Interfluve: Implications for Local Livelihoods and Human-Environment Interactions”

Initial Duration: 12 months
Extension: Up to an additional 6 + 6 months, subject to performance and project requirements.
Essential Qualification
Candidates should possess:
- Postgraduate degree in any Social Science or relevant Applied Discipline
- Minimum 55% marks from a recognised university/institution
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- UGC-NET / M.Phil. / Ph.D.
- Relevant research experience
- Practical knowledge of Geoinformatics, GIS and Remote Sensing
- Understanding of spatial morphology and hydrological functioning of paleochannel ponds
- Programming/data-analysis skills in Google Earth Engine (GEE), SPSS, Python or R
Salary / Remuneration
₹37,000/- per month
