Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, invites applications from eligible candidates for Research Associate, Research Assistant and Field Investigator positions under an ICSSR-sponsored Major Research Project.

The project will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Lovey Srivastava, Principal Investigator and Assistant Professor, CSPILAS, School of Language, Literature & Culture Studies (SLL&CS), JNU.

Project Title

“The Literature and Culture around Student and Youth Movements in India and Latin America in 20th and 21st Century”

Job Title / Designation

1. Research Associate

Number of Posts: 01

Remuneration: ₹47,000 per month

Essential Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Social Sciences and Humanities
  • Minimum 55% marks in M.A.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching or research experience

Preferred Disciplines:

  • Political Science
  • Media Studies
  • Cultural Studies
  • Sociology

2. Research Assistant

Number of Posts: 01

Remuneration: ₹37,000 per month

Essential Qualification:

  • Postgraduate degree in a Social Science discipline
  • Minimum 55% marks
  • NET / M.Phil. / Ph.D. qualification

  • Media Studies

3. Field Investigator

Number of Posts: 01

Remuneration: ₹20,000 per month

Essential Qualification:

  • Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences and Humanities
