Shri Chintamani Bahudeshiya Shikshan Mandal Ballarpur’s Chintamani College of Commerce, Pombhurna, Chandrapur, Maharashtra, has invited applications for the post of Assistant Professor in English. The position is available on a full-time basis and falls under the Open category.

Eligible candidates with a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject and NET/SET qualification can apply through postal mode. The completed application must reach the concerned authority within 15 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have a good academic record with at least 55% marks, or an equivalent B grade in the seven-point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E and F, at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject.

The degree should be obtained from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent qualification from an accredited foreign university.

Candidates must also have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Eligibility Test (SET).

All qualifications will be considered according to the applicable norms of:

  • University Grants Commission (UGC)
  • Government of Maharashtra
  • Gondwana University

Experience

Experience requirements will be as per UGC, Government of Maharashtra and Gondwana University norms.

Candidates who are already employed must submit their application through the proper channel, along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.

Salary

The selected Assistant Professor will receive salary and applicable benefits as per UGC/Government of Maharashtra rules.

Candidates are required to submit a Postal Order/Demand Draft of Rs. 3,000/-.

The DD/Postal Order should be drawn in favour of:

and should be payable at POMBHURNA.
