Essential Qualification
Candidates should satisfy either of the following:
Option 1
- First Class Postgraduate Degree, including integrated postgraduate degrees, in Biological Science.
OR
Option 2
- Second Class Postgraduate Degree, including integrated postgraduate degrees, in Biological Science.
- Ph.D. in Biological Science.

Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in:
- 2D and 3D in-vitro models
- Cancer Biology
- Molecular Biology
- Cell Biology
- Animal tumour models
- Transcriptomics
- Proteomics
- Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) of tumour samples
- Bioinformatics
- Linux

- Python
Candidates should also possess:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Research project management skills.
- At least one first-author peer-reviewed original research publication.

Salary / Fellowship
The selected Project Research Scientist-I will receive:
₹56,000 per month + 30% HRA
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 35 Years
Age relaxation will be applicable as per the relevant Government of India rules and instructions.
Duration of Appointment
The initial appointment will be for one year.
The position may be extended on a yearly basis until the completion of the project, subject to:
- Satisfactory performance.
- Continuation of the sponsored project.
- Availability of funds.
The appointment is purely temporary and project-based.
