Guest Faculty – Anatomy & Physiology
The university is inviting eligible candidates for engagement as Guest Faculty in Anatomy & Physiology.
The engagement is on a temporary/guest faculty basis for the academic session 2026–27. The university’s official website lists the Anatomy and Physiology guest faculty notification among its current recruitment notices.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should fulfil the following eligibility requirements:
Essential Qualification
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point-scale system where applicable.
- The Master’s degree should be in the concerned, relevant or allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Candidates must have cleared:
- UGC NET, or
- CSIR NET, or
- SLET/SET or another similar test accredited by the UGC.
Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with the applicable UGC regulations may be exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirement.
Ph.D. Candidates Registered Before 11 July 2009
Candidates whose Ph.D. programme was registered before 11 July 2009 may be governed by the regulations applicable at the time of registration and may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET subject to fulfilment of the prescribed conditions.
The conditions include:
- The Ph.D. degree must have been awarded in regular mode.
- The Ph.D. thesis must have been evaluated by at least two external examiners.
- An open Ph.D. viva voce must have been conducted.
- The candidate must have published two research papers from the Ph.D. work, including at least one in a refereed journal.
- The candidate must have presented at least two papers based on the Ph.D. work at conferences/seminars sponsored, funded or supported by UGC, ICSSR, CSIR or a similar agency.
- Fulfilment of these conditions must be certified by the Registrar or Dean (Academic Affairs) of the concerned university.
Ph.D. From Foreign Universities
A Ph.D. obtained from a foreign university/institution may also qualify for exemption from NET/SLET/SET where the institution has been ranked among the top 500 in world university rankings at any time by one of the specified ranking systems:
- Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)
- Times Higher Education (THE)
- Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University
Honorarium / Pay
The Guest Faculty will receive:
₹1,500/- per lecture
The maximum monthly ceiling is:
₹50,000/- per month
for the academic session 2026–27.
The guest faculty engagement does not carry the allowances, pension, gratuity, leave or other benefits applicable to regular Assistant Professors/Lecturers/Teachers.
Nature of Engagement
The engagement is purely on a temporary Guest Faculty basis.
The university has stated that:
- The number of posts may be increased or decreased.
- The university may decide not to engage any of the advertised posts.
- The university may withdraw any advertised post.
- Guest Faculty will not receive regular employee benefits such as pension, gratuity or leave benefits.
