About Sainik School Mainpuri

Sainik School Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, became functional on 22nd July 2019. The school was established pursuant to the Memorandum of Agreement signed between the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, and the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 30th April 2015.

The first batch of Class VI students commenced on 22nd July 2019. The institution comes directly under the Sainik Schools Society, Sena Bhawan, Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

Located in the historic city of Mainpuri, Sainik School Mainpuri is committed to providing quality education while developing discipline, character, leadership qualities and a sense of patriotism among students.

Educational Qualifications

TGT – English

Candidates should meet the prescribed educational and professional qualifications. The eligibility criteria include any of the following applicable qualifications:

1. Four-Year Integrated Degree:
A four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE-recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in aggregate, including the B.Ed. component.

OR

2. Bachelor’s/Honours Degree with B.Ed.:
Bachelor’s or Honours Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and in the prescribed subject combination and aggregate, along with a B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE-recognized institution/university with at least 50% marks.

A three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks is also applicable as prescribed.

OR

3. Graduation with B.Ed. Special Education:
Graduation in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks, along with a one-year B.Ed. (Special Education) qualification from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) with at least 50% marks.

OR

4. Postgraduate Qualification:
Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, along with a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks.

Additional Eligibility

  • Candidates must have qualified Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II conducted by the Government of India.
  • Candidates should have competence to teach through English and Hindi languages.
  • Age: 21 to 35 years.

Salary / Pay Scale

  • TGT: Fixed remuneration of ₹35,000 to ₹60,000 per month
  • Counsellor: Fixed remuneration of ₹25,000 to ₹45,000 per month

The remuneration is subject to the terms and conditions prescribed by Sainik School Mainpuri.
