Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Genetics / Plant Breeding / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Biotechnology with a 4/5-year Bachelor’s degree.

Candidates having a 3-year Bachelor’s degree must have qualified a national-level examination such as:

• CSIR-UGC NET, including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship
• GATE
• Another national-level examination conducted by Central Government departments/agencies/institutions
