Vacancy Details and Qualifications
1. Professor – Academic Level 14A
- Ph.D. with 10 years of experience, including at least 4 years as an Associate Professor.
- First-class Master’s degree (minimum 60%) or equivalent, with a consistently good academic record.
- Minimum research publications as specified in the recruitment notification, including ABDC-B/ABS-3 and ABDC-A/ABS-4 journal combinations indexed in Web of Science (WoS) or Scopus.
- A book published by a reputed publisher is preferred.
- A case study with a teaching note published by Harvard Case Publishing, Richard Ivey or Emerald is preferred.
- Preference for candidates who have guided at least two FPM/Ph.D. scholars.
- Experience at AACSB-, AMBA-BGA- or EFMD-EQUIS-accredited institutions is preferred.
2. Associate Professor – Academic Level 13A2
- Ph.D. with six years of experience, including three years of post-Ph.D. experience as an Assistant Professor or equivalent.
- Industry candidates from government, PSUs or research organizations may qualify with six years of experience at an equivalent level.
- First-class Master’s degree (minimum 60%) or equivalent, with a consistently good academic record.
- Minimum research publications as specified in the notification, indexed in WoS or Scopus.
- Preference for books published by reputed publishers, published case studies with teaching notes, Ph.D. supervision and experience at internationally accredited institutions.
3. Assistant Professor – Academic Level 13A1
- Ph.D. with five years of experience, including three years of post-Ph.D. experience as an Assistant Professor or equivalent.
- Eligible industry candidates from government, PSUs or research organizations must have five years of experience at an equivalent level.
- First-class Master’s degree (minimum 60%) or equivalent, with a consistently good academic record.
- Minimum research publications as prescribed in the notification, indexed in WoS or Scopus.
- Preference for candidates with Ph.D. supervision experience, teaching case publications and experience at internationally accredited institutions.
4. Assistant Professor Grade I – Academic Level 12
- Ph.D. with three years of experience, excluding Ph.D. experience, or qualifying equivalent industry experience.
- First-class Master’s degree (minimum 60%) or equivalent.
- Minimum research publications as specified in the notification.
- Preference for candidates with teaching cases, books published by reputed publishers and experience at internationally accredited institutions.
5. Assistant Professor Grade II – Academic Level 11
- Ph.D. in the appropriate discipline with more than one year of post-Ph.D. experience.
- First-class Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees, as well as first-class Class X and Class XII qualifications.
- Minimum two ABDC-B/ABS-3 publications or one ABDC-A/ABS-4 publication, indexed in WoS or Scopus.
- Preference for candidates with relevant case publications and experience at internationally accredited institutions.
6. Assistant Professor Grade II – Academic Level 10
- Fresh Ph.D. in the appropriate discipline with less than one year of post-Ph.D. experience.
- Candidates who have completed their Ph.D. viva voce and received provisional award status may also apply.
- First-class Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees, as well as first-class Class X and Class XII qualifications.
- At least one ABDC-B/ABS-3 journal publication indexed in WoS or Scopus is mandatory; two or more such publications are desirable.
7. Professor of Practice / Associate Professor of Practice
- Minimum 20 years of substantial industry or government experience.
- Demonstrated professional impact, domain expertise and potential to contribute to teaching and Leadership Development Programmes.
- A Ph.D. is desirable but not essential; applicants without one must demonstrate substantial domain knowledge and professional expertise.
- Initial appointment for two years, renewable up to a maximum of five years, subject to performance and approval.
- Retirement age: 65 years.
- Compensation equivalent to that of a regular Professor or Associate Professor, depending on the position.
Note: The institute may consider contractual appointments for candidates with excellent academic credentials who do not fully meet certain publication or experience requirements, subject to the recruitment notification.
