Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU) is a professional fisheries university established by the Government of Tamil Nadu under the Tamil Nadu Fisheries University Act, 2012, on 19th June 2012, at Nagapattinam.

Educational Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria
1. Assistant Professor – Statistics
Candidates applying for the Statistics position must possess:
- Ph.D. in Statistics; or
- Ph.D. in Agricultural Statistics.
