Job Overview

The College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, under Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU), invites eligible candidates to attend a walk-in interview for the position of Teaching Assistant (Daily Wage) in the Department of Veterinary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine for the academic year 2026–27.

This is a temporary appointment on a daily wage basis for a maximum period of 360 days or until a regular appointment is made, whichever is earlier.

Vacancy Details

Reservation: Ezhava backlog vacancy. If no eligible candidate from the Ezhava community is available, candidates from other communities will be considered as per the prescribed rotation chart.

Educational Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the relevant subject from an Indian Veterinary University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Good academic record with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• NET qualification in the relevant subject conducted by CSIR/UGC or an agency constituted by the State Government is preferred.
• Candidates holding a Ph.D. in the concerned subject are exempted from NET as per UGC Regulations, 2016.
• Only degrees awarded by UGC-recognized universities will be considered.

Age Limit
