The Institute has started functioning from session 2018-19. It is envisioned to develop into an institute with highest standards of teaching, training and research.   Essential Qualification
  1. A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third
  schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.
  2. A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
  Experience:
  Six years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  Essential for Super-Speciality disciplines:
  1. Same as essential criteria 1 & 2 for Associate Professor stated above.
  2. D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical super specialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized
  course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  Experience:
  Four years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years after MD/MS or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  OR
  Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality for the candidate possessing 3 years recognized D.M./M.Ch. degree in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  Essential for Non-Medical Candidates (Applications are invited only for the post of Associate Professor in Physiology):
  1. Post graduate qualification e.g. Masters degree in the concerned discipline.
  2. A doctorate degree of recognized university.
  Experience:
  Six years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
• Assistant Professor:
  Essential:
  1. Same as essential criteria 1 & 2 for Associate Professor stated above.
  For Hospital administration, M.D in Hospital Administration or Master’s in Hospital Administration from an MCI recognized Institution/ University or recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
  Experience:
  Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent.
  Essential for Super-Speciality disciplines:
  1. Same as essential criteria 1 & 2 for Associate Professor stated above.
  2. D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical super specialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent 
  Experience:
  One-year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years after MD/MS or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M./M.Ch or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  Essential for Non-Medical Candidates (Applications are invited only for the post of Assistant Professor in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Biostatistics, Medical Biotechnology, Pharmacology and Physiology):
  1. Post graduate qualification e.g. Masters degree in the concerned discipline. (For Medical Biotechnology, Master’s degree in Life Science, Immunology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Genetic)
  2. A doctorate degree of recognized university.
  Experience:
  Three years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
  Essential for Dentistry (Prosthodontist) :
  1. A graduate dental qualification e.g. included in Part-I of Dentist Act, 1948
  2. MDS in Prosthodontist or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  Experience:
  Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MDS qualification recognized equivalent thereto

 Candidate Profile:

• The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
• The candidate should have excellent communication
• Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
• The candidate should have good research record

Job Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra

Pay Scale:

1. Associate Professor: Level- 13A1+ (138300 – 209200) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
2. Assistant Professor: Level- 12 (101500 – 167400) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
