The Andhra Pradesh Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (APMSRB) has released Notification No. 05/2026 (31 March 2026) for the recruitment of 58 Professor (UG) and Associate Professor posts in Ayurveda and Homoeopathy under the AYUSH Department.

These are contract-based positions for 1 year or until regular recruitment is completed.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

👨‍🏫 For Professor (UG)

  • Post Graduate Degree in relevant subject (3-year regular course)
  • Minimum 8 years teaching experience
  • Must be a Registered Medical Practitioner

👩‍🏫 For Associate Professor

  • PG Degree in Ayurveda / Homoeopathy
  • Minimum 3 years teaching experience
  • Registered practitioner in respective field

✔️ Important Notes:

  • Ayurveda requires exact subject specialization
  • Homoeopathy allows allied subjects

🎂 Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 60 years (as on 01-07-2025)
  • Age relaxation as per AP Government rules

💰 Salary

  • Professor (UG): ₹80,910/month
  • Associate Professor: ₹65,360/month

👉 Contract-based pay structure
