Organization Overview: Bosco Institute of Information Technology (BIIT), the Professional Education wing that helped students become employable and earn an IGNOU degree; Bosco InfoTech Services (BOSCO ITS), which provided software development and training for BIIT graduates; and Arivagam, which opened as a Knowledge Resource Center in 2006, were the three wings under which the institute operated. A demanding postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) was provided to the students while they pursued their BCA degree at IGNOU. Over a ten-year period, BIIT trained over a thousand rural students as information technology professionals. The majority of them work as developers, testers, graphic designers, technical writers, hardware technicians, and instructors in the business or service sector.
