About the Recruitment

Central University of Rajasthan invites eligible candidates for Assistant Professor positions on a contractual basis in various departments.

The selection will be conducted through Walk-In Interviews. Candidates must appear at the University on the respective interview date and time with the completed application form and required original documents along with one set of photocopies.

Position Details

Department-Wise Eligibility

Department of Pharmacy

Candidates should possess:

• B.Pharm degree
• Registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended
• M.Pharm with 60% marks for UR candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates in Pharmacology specialization
• For UR position: at least 55% in Master’s degree and 60% in at least two preceding examinations
• For ST position: at least 50% in Master’s degree and 55% in at least two preceding examinations

Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development

Candidates may possess:

• M.E./M.Tech. in ECE, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, Cyber Security, or allied areas with specializations such as VLSI, Embedded Systems, IoT and Sensors, Control Systems, Industrial Automation, Materials Engineering, Nanotechnology, Mechatronics, Robotics, etc.

OR

• More than 3 years of industrial experience with B.E./B.Tech. in ECE, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, or allied specializations.

OR

• Ph.D. in a relevant field with specialization in IoT, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Sensors, or allied areas.

Candidates should also meet the prescribed minimum percentage requirements.

Department of Sports Psychology

Candidates should possess:

• Master’s degree in Sports Psychology/Psychology
• At least 55% marks in Master’s degree and 60% marks in at least two preceding examinations
• NET in Psychology

Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. according to the applicable UGC Regulations, 2018 provisions are exempted from the NET requirement.

Department of Linguistics

Candidates should possess:

• Master’s degree in Linguistics
• At least 50% marks in Master’s degree and 55% marks in at least two preceding examinations
• NET in Linguistics

Candidates holding a Ph.D. awarded according to the applicable UGC Regulations, 2018 provisions are exempted from the NET requirement.

Department of Hotel & Tourism Management

Candidates should possess:

• Minimum 4-year Bachelor’s degree in HMCT and/or 2-year Master’s degree in HMCT or relevant discipline
• First Class or equivalent in at least one of the two degrees
• Prescribed minimum percentage in Master’s and preceding examinations
• Ph.D. in the relevant field or UGC NET in the relevant subject

Relevant Master’s disciplines include:

• Tourism and Hospitality Management
• M.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration
• M.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Technology

Department of Architecture

Candidates should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent to B.Arch.
• M.Arch./M.Plan. or equivalent qualification
• At least 55% marks at Master’s level
• At least 55% marks in two preceding examinations
• One year of relevant professional experience

Department of Yoga

Candidates should possess:

• Master’s degree in Yoga/Yoga Therapy/Yogic Science
• At least 55% marks in Master’s degree and 60% marks in at least two preceding examinations
• NET in Yoga

Candidates holding a Ph.D. awarded according to the applicable UGC Regulations, 2018 provisions are exempted from the NET requirement.

Salary

Selected Assistant Professors will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹60,000/-.

Selection Process

Selection will be through a Walk-In Interview.

• Original experience certificates, wherever applicable
• NET/Ph.D./other qualification certificates, as applicable
