Bharathiar University Recruitment 2026 – Overview
Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, has invited applications for Guest Faculty/Guest Lecturer and Placement Officer positions on a temporary basis. Candidates with relevant postgraduate qualifications, Ph.D., NET/SLET, or suitable placement experience can apply for the available positions.
The Guest Faculty positions cover disciplines including Electronics, Electrical & Communication, Electrical and Instrumentation, Physics, Tamil, and English. Candidates with teaching or industrial experience in electronics and manufacturing will be preferred.
The Guest Lecturer position carries a remuneration of ₹25,000 per month, while the Placement Officer position offers ₹30,000 per month.

Eligibility
Guest Faculty / Guest Lecturer:
- Master’s degree in Electronics / Electrical & Communication / Electrical and Instrumentation / Physics with Ph.D. or NET/SLET.
- For Tamil and English positions, PG in the respective subject with Ph.D. or NET/SLET.
Placement Officer:
- Any Postgraduate degree in Arts and Science.
- 5–10 years of experience in organizing placements and inviting industries.
Experience
Teaching and industrial experience in the fields of electronics and manufacturing will be preferred for the relevant Guest Faculty positions.
Salary
- Guest Lecturer: ₹25,000 per month
- Placement Officer: ₹30,000 per month
The Guest Faculty engagement is purely temporary, and the service may be terminated at any time without assigning reasons.
