The university has announced recruitment for Research Assistant and Field Investigator positions under the Haryana State Research Fund (HSRF) sponsored research project titled “Digital Agriculture in Haryana: Adoption Dynamics and Policy Imperatives.” This project aims to examine the adoption of digital agriculture technologies in Haryana and provide evidence-based policy recommendations. Eligibility Criteria

Research Assistant

Applicants should possess:

  • Postgraduate degree in any Social Science discipline with at least 55% marks.
  • NET, M.Phil., or Ph.D. qualification.
  • Strong research aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Experience in academic research, report writing, or data analysis will be an added advantage.

Field Investigator

Applicants should possess:

  • Postgraduate degree in any Social Science discipline with at least 55% marks.
  • Good communication and field survey skills.
  • Ability to conduct interviews, collect primary data, and assist in research activities.

Tenure

Research Assistant

  • Initial appointment for one year.
  • Extendable for one additional year based on satisfactory performance and project progress.

Field Investigator

  • Initial appointment for six months.
  • Extendable for another six months if required.

Salary

Position Consolidated Monthly Fellowship
Research Assistant ₹37,000
Field Investigator ₹15,000

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates may be involved in:

  • Conducting literature reviews and policy analysis.
  • Collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative research data.
  • Undertaking field surveys and interviews with stakeholders.
  • Assisting in data compilation, documentation, and report preparation.
  • Supporting research publications and dissemination activities.
  • Coordinating with project investigators during project implementation.
  • Preparing presentations and maintaining project records.

Selection Process

Selection will generally be based on:
