Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), Thiruvarur, has released a notification for the temporary engagement of Counsellors to provide student and university counselling services. Eligible candidates with qualifications in Clinical Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, or Counselling Psychology are invited to apply through the offline application process.

Essential Qualifications
- M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology / Rehabilitation Psychology from a recognized institution approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- OR Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology / Psychology with counselling experience.
- Relevant experience in government educational institutions, university counselling centres, or reputed mental health-care clinics is preferred.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in individual and group counselling.
- Crisis intervention and psychiatric emergency management skills.
- Psycho-educational content development.
- Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in university or college counselling settings.
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and counselling techniques.
