About College:  Located In Chennai, CIT is a private autonomous Engineering institute recognised by the UGC and AICTE, affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. It offers UG, PG, and PhD courses across various specialisations. Out of all courses, five BE courses are NBA accredited. Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) are accredited for six years and courses such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering are accredited for three years.

CIT has signed an MoU with Capgemini Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). It also has various centres of excellence such as HCL Centre of Excellence for Embedded and Imaging Technology, Virtusa Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence Managed Services, etc. CIT in association with Parthasarathy Seeniammal Educational Trust offers 50-100% scholarships on tuition fees to the top 25 students through the CIT Scholarship Test.
