Job Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature, preparing students for academic success, and enhancing their reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension abilities. The role also includes mentoring students and participating in academic development activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- M.A. in English (Mandatory)
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience preferred
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also be considered
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Experience in Intermediate and Degree College teaching is desirable
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures in English Language and Literature for Intermediate and Degree students
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments
- Improve students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills
- Conduct regular tests, assignments, and evaluations
- Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students
- Maintain academic records and performance reports
- Participate in academic meetings, workshops, seminars, and institutional activities
- Prepare students for university examinations and competitive exams when required
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong command of English grammar, language, and literature
- Effective classroom management abilities
- Ability to motivate and engage students
- Lesson planning and curriculum delivery skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and online teaching tools
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience required
- Experience in lesson planning preferred
- Prior teaching experience in Intermediate or Degree Colleges is an advantage
Salary & Benefits
Salary
- ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month
- Salary negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and performance
