M.Kumarasamy College of Engineering (MKCE) is located at Thalavapalayam on the Karur–Salem Highway. The institution was established in the year 2000 by M.Kumarasamy Health and Educational Trust and attained autonomous status in 2011.
The college offers UG, PG, and Ph.D programmes in Engineering, Technology, Science, and Humanities disciplines. MKCE is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. Six UG programmes have been accredited by NBA under Tier-1. The institution is also ranked in the NIRF 2025 rankings under the 201–300 band.
