Essential Qualifications

Professor (Civil Engineering)

  • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
  • First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
  • Minimum 10 years of teaching, research, or industry experience, including 3 years as Associate Professor.
  • Minimum 6 research publications in indexed journals and successful supervision of 2 Ph.D. scholars, or at least 10 indexed research publications.

Associate Professor (Mechanical Engineering)

  • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
  • First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
  • Minimum 8 years of teaching, research, or industry experience, including 2 years post-Ph.D. experience.
  • At least 6 research publications in indexed journals.

Assistant Professor – Engineering Disciplines

(Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering)

  • B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in at least one degree.
  • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline is desirable.

Assistant Professor – Business

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • MBA/PGDM/CA/ICWA/M.Com. with First Class or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience after the Master’s degree.
  • Preference for Finance, Marketing, and Business Analytics specializations.

Assistant Professor – Architecture

  • B.Arch. with minimum 60% marks and 3 years of professional experience.
    OR
  • B.Arch. with Master’s Degree in Architecture or allied discipline with minimum 60% marks and 1 year of professional experience.
  • Valid Council of Architecture (CoA) Registration is mandatory.

Assistant Professor – Science & Humanities

(Chemistry, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Dogri, Philosophy, Physics)

  • Master’s Degree with 55% marks in the relevant discipline.
  • Must have qualified UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/SLET/SET.
  • Candidates awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with UGC Regulations are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
  • Candidates with a Ph.D. from internationally ranked universities (Top 500 by QS/THE/ARWU) are also eligible as per UGC norms.
