Eligibility Criteria
As Per UGC Regulations 2018
Candidates with Ph.D.
- Ph.D. Degree in the relevant discipline.
- Eligible to teach Postgraduate courses.
Candidates without Ph.D.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified:
- UGC-NET
- Equivalent eligibility examinations
In Case of Non-Availability
- Candidates possessing a Postgraduate Degree with a good academic record may also be considered.
Honorarium Details
Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) with Ph.D.
- ₹1,000 per class
- Maximum 60 classes per month
- Maximum remuneration: ₹60,000 per month
Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) with NET (Without Ph.D.)
- ₹750 per class
- Maximum 60 classes per month
- Maximum remuneration: ₹45,000 per month
Additional Conditions
- No additional allowances or financial benefits.
- TDS will be deducted as per applicable Income Tax rules.
- Statutory taxes shall be borne by the candidate.
Leave Benefits
- 10 days leave per year.
Tenure of Engagement
- From 01 July 2026 to 31 December 2026
- Or till the vacancy is filled through regular recruitment, whichever is earlier.
- Extension subject to satisfactory performance during quarterly review.
Retired Faculty
- Eligible to continue up to 70 years of age, subject to periodic review.
