- Significant experience in guiding Ph.D. scholars.

- Strong administrative, managerial, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Qualifications and experience as prescribed in the detailed official notification issued by the Ministry of Education.

The Director shall serve as the Principal Academic and Administrative Head of IISER Bhopal and will be responsible for:
