Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess:

  • Ph.D. in the appropriate discipline
  • First Class or equivalent grade in the preceding degree
  • Very good academic record throughout previous degrees

Appointment Conditions

Candidates with a fresh Ph.D. may initially be appointed on a contract basis for three years, with the possibility of regularisation thereafter.

Candidates having three or more years of post-Ph.D. teaching, research or industrial experience may be considered for regular appointment, subject to applicable Institute norms.

Salary / Pay Scale

₹89,800 – ₹1,67,400/-

Reservation

The recruitment drive is being conducted to address backlog vacancies in reserved categories in accordance with applicable provisions of the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Teachers’ Cadre) Act, 2019.
