Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess any one of the following in a relevant discipline:

Desired Expertise

Applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas will be preferred:

  • Numerical modelling and simulation
  • Experimental geotechnics
  • Constitutive modelling
  • Slope stability and landslides
  • Ground improvement and geosynthetics
  • Geotechnical earthquake engineering

Preferred Research Experience

Preference will be given to candidates having:

  • Publications in reputed SCI/SCIE-indexed journals
  • Presentations at national or international conferences
  • Experience in laboratory testing of soil and rock materials
  • Experience with advanced geotechnical or rock mechanics testing equipment

Salary

  • ₹45,000 – ₹60,000 per month
  • Salary will be determined based on qualifications and relevant experience.
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided as per IIT Ropar norms if institute accommodation is not available.
