Project Title
Investigation of Stress Physiology and Changes in Grain Fatty Acid Composition in Brassica juncea Against Fluoride Toxicity
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess an M.Sc. degree or equivalent in any of the following disciplines:
- Environmental Science
- Botany
- Chemical Science
- Earth Sciences
Applicants should have:
- A strong academic record.
- Experience in environmental fieldwork.
- Experience in the analysis of soil, water, and plant samples.
Desirable Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
- Environmental fieldwork and soil analysis
- Ion chromatography for anion and cation analysis
- Physicochemical analysis of soil and water
- Fatty acid analysis of plant samples using gas chromatography
- Collection of samples from agricultural fields in the National Capital Region (NCR)
- Field-based environmental sampling
Salary
- ₹37,000 per month + 30% HRA (for candidates qualified in CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship) or GATE)
- ₹30,000 per month + 30% HRA (for candidates without NET/GATE qualification)
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Conduct field sampling and environmental data collection.
- Analyze soil, water, and plant samples.
- Perform laboratory-based environmental experiments.
- Use statistical and computer tools for data analysis.
- Assist in preparing research reports and scientific publications.
Selection Process
