About College: Shenthil Velavan Trust founded Jai Shriram Engineering College in 2009 with the goal of providing higher education to rural and village residents at all economic levels. The trust has made significant investments to develop the infrastructure, going above and beyond the demands of the University and AICTE, including buildings, labs, hostels, and other necessities. In addition to supporting the technical college, the trust works to give needy and impoverished students free education by covering their tuition costs. The School of Engineering and Technology and the School of Management Studies are housed on the same campus as Jai Shriram Engineering College.
