Job Vacancy
The available position is Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technician. Candidates selected for the role will support surgeons, anaesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during surgical and emergency procedures.
Educational Qualification
Applicants should possess a B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology, Anaesthesia Technology, or a relevant qualification from a recognized institution. Fresh graduates can also apply for the position. Candidates with previous experience in a hospital or operation theatre environment will be preferred.
Experience
Both freshers and experienced candidates are eligible. Relevant experience in operation theatre services, anaesthesia support, hospital procedures, sterilization, or clinical equipment handling will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
The selected Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technician will assist surgeons, anaesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the Operation Theatre, surgical instruments, anaesthesia equipment, and other necessary supplies.
The technician will assist with patient preparation and ensure that all required equipment and materials are available before procedures. The role also involves maintaining proper sterilization, infection-control, and safety practices.
The selected candidate will assist anaesthesiologists with the preparation and maintenance of anaesthesia machines and related equipment. They will also ensure the proper functioning and availability of OT and anaesthesia equipment.
Additional duties include cleaning, sterilizing, and performing routine maintenance of equipment, maintaining OT and anaesthesia-related records, and supporting safe patient care during surgical and emergency procedures.
