Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India, with its headquarters in New Delhi. It manages 1288 Kendriya Vidyalayas in India and 3 abroad, along with 25 regional offices and five Zonal Institutes of Education & Training (ZIETs).
