Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Department: Electronics and Communication Engineering
The JRF will work on the project:
“Developing Secure Maritime Tactical Communication System via Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface-aided Hybrid Satellite-Terrestrial Network”
The project focuses on communication systems involving Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) technology and hybrid satellite-terrestrial networks.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet one of the qualification routes specified in the notification.
Route 1
A Master’s degree in:
- M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering
- M.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Engineering
- M.S. in Electronics and Communication Engineering
- M.Tech./M.Sc./M.S. in VLSI discipline
with at least 55% marks.
Route 2
Candidates with a:
- B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering
are also eligible to apply.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Candidates should have proficiency in:
- VLSI design for wireless communication
- FPGA-based modelling
Preference will be given to candidates having experience with:
- AMD Vivado Design Suite
- Vitis tools
- Related VLSI/wireless communication design tools
NIT Patna JRF Fellowship
The selected JRF will receive:
₹37,000 per month + 18% HRA
