Eligibility Criteria

1. Superintendent

Candidates should have either:

• First Class Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute in any discipline; OR
• Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.

Candidates should also have knowledge of computer applications including:

• Spreadsheet

2. Technical Assistant

The qualification varies according to the specialization.

Applied Geology

• First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Geology as one subject; OR
• Master’s Degree in Geology/Applied Geology with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.

Architecture & Planning

First Class or equivalent in:

• B.E./B.Tech. Architecture and Interior Decoration
• Civil Engineering – Construction Technology
• Building and Construction Technology

Biotechnology

• First Class B.E./B.Tech. Biotechnology; OR
• M.Sc. Biotechnology with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.

Chemical Engineering

• First Class/equivalent B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering.

Chemistry

• M.Sc. Chemistry with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.

Civil Engineering

• First Class/equivalent B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.

Computer Science & Engineering

• First Class/equivalent B.E./B.Tech. in CSE/IT or MCA; OR
• First Class Diploma in Engineering in CSE/IT with first class or 60% marks in 10th examination.

Metallurgical & Materials Engineering

• First Class/equivalent B.E./B.Tech. in Metallurgical & Materials, Metallurgical, Materials, Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering; OR
• First Class Diploma in Engineering in the relevant listed disciplines, with first class or 60% marks in 10th.

Physics

• M.Sc. Physics with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.

3. Senior Assistant

Candidates should have:

• Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board
• Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute
• Proficiency in computer word processing and spreadsheet applications

4. Senior Technician – Chemistry

Candidates should have:

• Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science
• Chemistry as one of the subjects
• Minimum 60% marks
• Qualification from a Government-recognized board

5. Technician

The qualification varies by department.

Architecture & Planning

Either:

• 10+2 with at least 50% + one-year or higher ITI course in Carpentry; OR
• 10th with at least 60% + two-year ITI Certificate in Carpentry.

Chemical Engineering

• Three-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a Government-recognized Polytechnic/Institute.
