Organization Profile: The People Institute of Management Studies (PiMS) was the idea of the late Adv. P. Raghavan (1945–2022), a keen supporter of educational infrastructure in Kerala’s underdeveloped Kasaragod district and a former legislator of the Kerala Legislative Assembly (1991–2001).PiMS was established in 2009 with the commendable objectives of giving students an excellent, value-oriented MBA, arming them with the best tools available, and preparing them for a leadership career.The institute was founded 13 years ago and is currently the sole self-financed B-school in Kasaragod, an impressive distinction. The institute is located in a rural, undeveloped area close to the wealthy Central Kerala region to the south and the south Canara educational hub of Mangalore and its surroundings.

Located within the sprawling educational hamlet EMS Aksharagramam, spread over a magnificent 35 acres of rural hinterland in the eastern reaches of Kasaragod district, PIMS offers regular full-time MBA programs across five areas of specialization (Marketing, Finance, HR, Banking & Insurance and Tourism) under Kannur University, and is approved and recognized by the AICTE. PiMS stands proudly among the elite few self-financed B-schools in India that offer MBA courses for the poorest of the poor. The tuition fees charged at PiMS is comparable to that of Government colleges, and is specifically focused on economic up liftment of poor students, backward communities (OBC/SC/ST) and the ushering in of social justice through high-quality professional education. Yet, in terms of infrastructure and facilities such as air-conditioned classrooms, seminar halls, gymnasium, recreational spaces, library and labs, it is second to none and enjoys parity with the best B-Schools of Kerala.

Departments : Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Qualification: Regular MBA degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA plus Ph. D. from a University recognized by UGC.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get salary as per the industry standard. Ph.D holders and those with experience of 5 years and more are eligible for higher salary.
