About ANGRAU
Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) was originally established as Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU) on 12th June 1964 under the APAU Act, 1963. The university was later renamed Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University on 7th November 1996 in honour of the noted parliamentarian and Kisan leader Acharya N.G. Ranga.
Following the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, ANGRAU continues to serve students and farmers across the state of Andhra Pradesh through its agricultural education, research and extension activities.
