1. TGT (Science) Eligibility Criteria

Essential Educational Qualifications

Candidates applying for TGT (Science) must meet the prescribed educational requirements.

• A four-year integrated degree course from an NCERT Regional College of Education in the concerned subject, with at least 50% marks in aggregate; or
• A Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects or combination of subjects and in aggregate.
• For TGT (Science), candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates must have studied Botany, Zoology and Chemistry during all three years of their degree course.
• A B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• A pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with NCTE guidelines.
• Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English.

Desirable qualification: Knowledge of computer applications.

CTET Requirement

CTET-qualified candidates will receive preference. According to the notice, candidates without CTET may be considered if CTET-qualified candidates are unavailable, provided they are otherwise eligible under the applicable KVS recruitment rules.

3. Computer Instructor Eligibility Criteria
