About the Research Project

The recruitment is for the ANRF-sponsored project titled:

“NIRVAAH-BioLNG: Nurturing Innovation in bio-methanation Route for enhanced Valorization of waste towards Augmented Harvesting of BioLNG”

The selected Project Associate-I will work on research related to biomethanation, waste valorization and BioLNG.

The project is supervised by Dr. Abhishek N Srivastava, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Calicut.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill one of the following qualification routes:

Route 1

  • M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. in:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Biotechnology
    • Environmental Science & Engineering
    • Relevant field
  • Minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA
  • Qualification from a recognized university/institute
  • GATE or CSIR-UGC NET qualification

Route 2

  • B.E./B.Tech. in:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Biotechnology
    • Environmental Science & Engineering
  • Minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA
  • GATE score

Candidates should ensure that their qualification matches the requirements specified in the recruitment notification.

Desirable Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have relevant research or practical experience in areas such as:
