Educational Qualifications and Eligibility
Candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
- A postgraduate degree in Social Sciences/Humanities in the relevant subject: History, Political Science or Economics.
- A B.Ed. degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
- NET, State Level Eligibility Test (SLET), or Ph.D. in the concerned subject, as prescribed by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
- M.Ed. or M.Ed. with Specialisation and a Ph.D. in Education is desirable.
- Maximum age: 65 years.
