Essential Qualification
Applicants should possess:
- Ph.D. / M.Phil. / Postgraduate Degree in any Social Science discipline
- Minimum 55% marks
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Research experience in Population Geography
- Population Studies
- Migration Studies
- Good command of English
- Knowledge of Bengali or Assamese
- Working knowledge of SPSS
- Experience with GIS Software
Project Duration
- Initial appointment will be for 1 year
- Extendable by 7–8 months based on:
- Project requirements
- Availability of funds
- Satisfactory performance
Note: The appointment is purely temporary and may be terminated with 30 days’ notice if performance is found unsatisfactory.
Salary
- ₹37,000/- per month (Consolidated)
