Essential Qualification
- Postgraduate Degree in:
- Social Sciences
- Geography
- Environment and Sustainability
- Related disciplines
- Minimum 55% marks for General/OBC candidates
- Minimum 50% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates
- Degree obtained from a UGC-recognized University/Institution
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in conducting field surveys, particularly in high-altitude rural and mountain regions
- Knowledge of geospatial and geostatistical techniques
- Familiarity with GIS, remote sensing, spatial data analysis, and sustainability studies
- Strong research, analytical, and report-writing skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, implementation, and field research activities
- Conduct literature reviews and policy analysis
- Carry out field surveys and stakeholder interactions
- Collect, manage, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data
- Utilize geospatial and statistical tools for research analysis
- Prepare project reports, research papers, presentations, and documentation
- Support the Project Director in achieving project objectives and deliverables
