About the Programme

Research excellence is an essential component of contemporary higher education. Faculty members are increasingly expected to develop expertise in intellectual property protection, ethical research practices, academic integrity, scholarly publication, and sponsored research.

Rishi UBR Women’s College, Hyderabad, is organizing an online Management Development Programme titled “Research Excellence: Intellectual Property Rights, Research Ethics and Sponsored Research” through its Department of Business Management, in association with the Department of Business Management, Osmania University, Hyderabad.

The programme is designed to provide faculty members and research professionals with practical knowledge and professional insights into Intellectual Property Rights, patent filing, research ethics, plagiarism prevention, publication integrity, grant proposal writing, and sponsored research management.

The MDP will provide a platform for participants from Management, Engineering, Science, Computer Science, and other disciplines to strengthen their research capabilities and contribute to a responsible and innovation-oriented research culture.

Objectives of the Programme

The programme aims to:

• Create awareness about Intellectual Property Rights and patent protection.
• Familiarize participants with patent filing procedures and technology commercialization.
• Promote ethical and responsible conduct of research.
• Develop awareness of plagiarism, academic integrity, and publication ethics.
• Enhance faculty skills in grant proposal writing and sponsored research management.
