NITK Surathkal invites applications for 01 Senior Project Associate position under the Centre for Krishna River Basin Management and Studies in Karnataka (cKrishna), Department of Civil Engineering.
Project Title
“Studies on Condition Assessment and Development of River Basin Management Plan (CAMP) for Krishna River Basin”
The project focuses on the condition assessment of the Krishna River Basin and the development of an integrated river basin management plan.

Essential Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
M.Tech. in Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering / Environmental Engineering
The candidate should have secured:
- First Class or equivalent
- Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA
The degree must be from a recognized university or institute.
Experience Requirement
Candidates should also have at least 2 years of Research & Development (R&D) experience in one or more of the following:
- Industrial institutions
- Academic institutions
- Science and Technology organizations
- Scientific activities and services
Salary / Emoluments
The selected candidate will receive:
₹57,000/- per month + 20% HRA
as consolidated emoluments for the Senior Project Associate position.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 35 years as on the last date for receipt of applications.
Age relaxation for OBC, SC, ST, PwD candidates and women applicants will be applicable according to Government of India norms.
Duration of Appointment
- Initial appointment: 11 months
- The position is temporary and project-based.
- Extension may be considered based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.
