Eligibility Criteria

Professor – Botany

Candidates should meet Eligibility A or B as specified:

Eligibility A:

• Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
• Eminent scholar with published work of high quality.
• Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
• Minimum research score of 120 as per Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulations 2018.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in a university/college as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor and/or research experience at an equivalent level in University/National Level Institutions.
• Evidence of successfully guiding doctoral candidates.

OR

Eligibility B:

• Outstanding professional with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines from an academic institution, industry or other institution not covered under Eligibility A.
• Significant contribution to knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
• Documentary evidence supporting the contribution.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.

Associate Professor – Mathematics

Candidates should have:

• Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience in an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor.
• Experience should be in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry.
• Minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
• Minimum research score of 75 as per Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulations 2018.
