Key Responsibilities

• Teach Manufacturing Engineering courses using the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) block-teaching model.
• Deliver theory and laboratory sessions.
• Conduct 100% continuous assessment through projects, vivas, laboratory work, and rubrics without end-semester examinations.
• Prepare course plans, teaching materials, laboratory manuals, and learning resources aligned with APSCHE R-23 curriculum.
• Supervise student projects, On-the-Job Training (OJT), and industry-integrated learning.
• Mentor students for academic and professional development.
• Participate in curriculum development, NSQF competency mapping, and accreditation activities (AICTE, NAAC, NBA).
• Undertake research, publications, consultancy, and funded projects.
• Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment documentation.
• Participate in admissions, departmental activities, and university committees.

Minimum Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or allied discipline.
• M.E./M.Tech specializing in:
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Production Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
• First Class or equivalent at both UG and PG levels.
• Qualifications must satisfy AICTE norms.

Required Technical Knowledge

Candidates should have expertise in:

• Manufacturing Processes

• CAD/CAM
• Engineering Materials
• Quality Engineering
• Lean Manufacturing

Additional Requirements

• Ability to teach using block-teaching methodology.
• Experience in laboratory instruction.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Telugu or Hindi will be an added advantage.
• Commitment to practical, industry-oriented engineering education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. (Awarded or Submitted) in Manufacturing, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Valid GATE / NET / SET qualification.
• Industry or applied research experience in Automotive or AC & Electronics Manufacturing.
