One of Tamil Nadu’s oldest engineering colleges, it was founded in 1993 by the late Shri M. E. Devarajan, the founder of the Sriram Educational Trust. Qualifications:

- Professor: Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering with first class in both UG and PG degrees from a recognized University / Institute. Position necessitates a minimum of Ten Years of academic experience.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering with first class in both UG and PG degrees from a recognized University / Institute. Position necessitates a minimum of Six Years of academic experience.
- Assistant Professor: First class in both UG and PG degrees (CSE) from a recognized University / Institute. Position necessitates a minimum of One Year of academic experience.
