Organization Profile: TNAU is a State University. Initially set up in Chennai in 1868, the university campus was relocated to Coimbatore in 1906. Also, it was in 1920 TNAU got affiliated with the University of Madras. Recognised by UGC, it offers a total of 96 UG, PG, PG diploma and doctoral courses in various fields of Science and Technology through its 15 constituent colleges and 29 affiliated colleges spread across Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu State University offers a four-year BTech and a four-year BSc in full-time mode at the UG level. Admission to the UG courses is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Moreover, it offers MTech, MSc and MBA and PhD at PG and doctoral level.

Qualification: Doctoral Degree in the relevant discipline (Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry, Home Science) with two years Master’s and four years Bachelor’s degree from SAU/CAU/ Technical Universities

Pay Scale:

• With NET: Rs. 55,000/- p.m.
• Without NET: Rs. 45,000/- p.m.
