Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, was established in 1961 as the Sardar Vallabhbhai Regional College of Engineering & Technology (SVRCET). Initially offering undergraduate programs in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering, the institute was later upgraded to a Deemed University in December 2002 and subsequently recognized as an Institution of National Importance under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007, effective from August 15, 2007. Essential Qualifications

For M.Sc./M.Phil. Candidates

  • First Class or equivalent CGPA (minimum 6.5 on a 10-point scale) in:
    • Chemistry
    • Applied Chemistry
    • Industrial Chemistry
  • Good academic record throughout.

For Ph.D. Candidates

  • Ph.D. in:
    • Chemistry
    • Applied Chemistry
    • Industrial Chemistry
  • Good academic record.
  • First Class or equivalent CGPA (minimum 6.5 on a 10-point scale) in M.Sc. (Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry).

Salary Details
