Qualification & Eligibility
For Faculty – Nautical Science
a) Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency issued by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Government of India
b) Minimum 6 months sailing experience at Management Level as per STCW Convention (as amended)
c) VICT / TOTA Course Certificate or willingness to complete the course
d) AECS and TSTA Course Certificate or willingness to complete the course
For Faculty – Marine Engineering
a) MEO Class I (Motor) Certificate of Competency issued by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Government of India
b) Minimum 6 months sailing experience at Management Level as per STCW Convention (as amended)
c) VICT / TOTA Course Certificate or willingness to complete the course
d) AECS and TSTA Course Certificate or willingness to complete the course
