Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess a Doctoral Degree in any of the following:

  • Science
  • Engineering
  • Technology
  • Pharmacy

OR

  • MD
  • Master of Surgery (MS)

The qualification must be from a recognized university or equivalent institution.

Desirable Qualification

Candidates should preferably have:

  • Independent project management experience.
  • Specialization in cell-culture-based host-pathogen interaction research.
  • Experience with molecular and cell biology techniques.
  • Safe handling of pathogens in BSL-2/BSL-3 facilities.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience after Ph.D.
  • Good publication track record in the area of infectious diseases.
  • Training in working in BSL-3 facilities is preferred.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 50 years

Salary / Emoluments

₹67,000/- per month + HRA

HRA: 30% per month

Tenure

1 year

The appointment may be extended for another year after satisfactory review.
